The Birthparent Support Alliance offers membership to adoption professionals committed to best practices in post-placement care. This opportunity benefits agencies, their adoptive families and birthparents by providing access to our comprehensive suite of programs including
- Expanded mental health care for birthparents, including Beyond Placement therapeutic groups and PMAD screening;
- Case management services connecting birthparents to vital resources;
- Adoption education for hopeful adoptive families and staff, including access to all live Zoom Activism in Adoption sessions annually for unlimited participants, including staff and adoptive parents;
- Unlimited recorded session licenses, providing access to our full library of 30+ Activism in Adoption sessions;
- Networking meetings for adoption professionals;
- Discounted access to a unique communication platform designed by an adopted person to support communication among the members of the adoption constellation, as well as a special discount code for Solace boxes;
- Consulting services, which can include access to birthparent speakers/panelists for events, website and material reviews for staff trainings.
Due to the demand for our services and capacity constraints we will no longer be able to accept referrals from non-Alliance agencies. Birthparents whose agencies are not members will continue to be eligible for services; however, they will be placed on a wait list which may extend 3 months or longer.
